Understand the sequence workflow
A sequence organizes outreach steps for a contact. Depending on its configuration, it can include automated actions and tasks you complete yourself.
Templates provide predefined steps. When you add contacts to an operator from My library or Marketplace, it researches them and creates personalized drafts in Approvals. Review and approve those drafts to start their sequences.
Use Marketplace to discover available content and My library to manage reusable sequences. Approvals contains outreach awaiting review, while Active sequences helps you follow enrolled contacts.
Follow Build sequences and operators to create the steps and instructions. Use Snippets for reusable message content and Sequence lists to organize your templates and operators.
Prepare a contact for outreach
- Check the contact's details and account history, then choose the contacts you intend to enroll.
- Choose Assign sequence where available, or add contacts from the sequence's enrollment flow.
- Review the chosen sequence, its channels, timing, recipients, and the settings presented before confirming.
- Complete any required review in Approvals. Check Active sequences for the resulting outreach and Tasks for steps that require your action.
Connect the tools needed by the chosen channels first. Approval, scheduling, and sending behavior depend on the sequence and your organization's settings. Do not assume every enrollment waits for a separate approval.
Approvals and active sequences walks through contact verification, draft review, reassignment, and pausing or resuming work. Check Sending settings for the defaults and limits that affect scheduled actions.
Connect sequences to your day
A sequence can create tasks, such as calls or manual outreach, as part of its steps. Keep Tasks in your daily routine so work requiring your attention continues moving.
Agents can help find suitable contacts and automate recurring enrollment when configured to do so. First define targeting, exclusions, volume, and review requirements, then check the resulting workflow before expanding it.
Review the results and improve
Open a sequence's Performance summary and select View full performance to investigate its results. The sequence performance guide explains date ranges, reply and meeting rates, and the work behind the totals.
Use Marketplace to find other sequences to review. Save an existing sequence for reuse, or duplicate it when you want an independent copy to adapt.
